Thirteen Service Vehicles were distributed by Mayor Carlito de la Peña Reyes and the Sangguniang Bayan to the Barangay Captains of thirteen barangays of the Municipality of Malvar last September 9, 2015. The 13 vehicles were second hand Toyota Avanza 2009 models and costs P3.749 million. Before it was distributed, the Parish Priest, Fr. Lito Malibiran blessed each and every car with holy water and prayers. The following barangays received their service vehicles: Bagong Pook, Bilucao, Bulihan, San Andres, San Fernando, San Gregorio, San Isidro, San Juan, Santiago, San Pedro I, San Pedro II, San Pioquinto and Poblacion.Two Barangays -Luta Norte and Luta Sur – will get their service vehicles before the end of 2015 or next year.
