January 12, 2026. Honorable Mayor Admiral Art Abu attended an assembly at Malvar Senior High School to personally express his gratitude and to award the Certificates of Appreciation to Mr. Leonard Dosaran, Ms. Lovely Jhemyl L. Ortigoza, and the La Huela Malvar Senior High School Dance Troupe in recognition of their outstanding and commendable performance during the 2nd Half En Banc Meeting of the Protected Area Management Board of the Taal Volcano Protected Landscape. The said meeting was held on November 27, 2025, at the Malvar Sports Arena, Brgy. Poblacion, Malvar, Batangas.
The said recognition sends a message that LGU’s continually supports the quest of Malvareños for excellence, showcase of talent, and active youth participation in promoting local culture, heritage and pride.
