The Municipality of Malvar hosted the conduct of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Quiz Bee Provincial elimination which coincides with the celebration of 36th Civil Registration Month with the theme "Navigating the Future Together: Advancing CRVS in Shaping the Global and Regional Data Ecosystem. Mayor Admiral Art Abu delivered an inspirational message focusing on expression of gratitude for choosing Malvar as the venue for such an important gathering and highlighting the important role of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) through the Local Civil Registrar (LCR) in nation building. Narito ang bahagi ng mensahe ni Mayor Admiral Abu: "Napakahalaga ng data sa Local Civil Registrar (LCR) sa nation building dahil ito ang pinakaunahing “foundation” ng pagkakakilanlan ng mamamayan at pinanggagalingan ng matibay na batayan para sa pagpaplano, paglalaan ng pondo, at paghatid ng serbisyo ng gobyerno. Ang bawat desisyon ng mga lingkod-bayan ay dapat naka base sa mga wastong impormasyon na nagmumula sa PSA".
